Ancho shrimp with stuffed poblano - delicious. Panko crusted Salmon dish very tasty. Presentation is beautiful, service is right up there with the best restaurants. Chocolate mousse crepe for desert - wow. Nice quiet relaxing atmosphere. A plus was an affordable, yet still good, wine list. |

Moderate priced wine menu with some excellent choices. They also have a mini wine tasting menu where you can try three, 3 oz. glasses of white or red wines. Grilled Eggplant was a nice light start and the fried calamari was so light and fresh it was devine. For dinner a special of grilled scallops over a wild rice/mango/peanut salad was a true delight. This season's new salmon dish, horseradish and peppered salmon, served over a warmed roasted beet and leek salad drizzled with a sherry vinaigrette and garnished with crispy beet chips was so moist and succulent it was wonderful. For dessert, a must do was the dessert sampler, with a flourless choc cake, carrot cake, and the fruit of the season dish with caramel/ice cream. |

Thai and Laotian food. The Pad Thai noodles are cooked al dente, not too sweet and not too spicy. Kai-Ka-Prow, which is Minced chicken sautéed in chili, red and green bell peppers, onions, and ka-prow leaves is a hit. Another favorite is their homemade Laotian sausage. It's stuffed with ground pork, lemongrass, and kaffir lime leaves, served with steamed vegetables and Lao chili sauce. It's the kaffir lime leaves that give it that awesome pungent taste that make it different from other sausages. Plus they have sticky rice here. You don't get that in too many Thai restaurants. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with tables spaced appropriately. BYOB. |

Service consistently top notch. Favorite dishes: appetizer: pane cotto. Perfect consistency of bread/beans/escarole with just a bite of spiciness. For dinner - polla gismonda, sauteed chicken with portobella mushrooms, roasted red peppers and asparagus. From appetizers and drinks at the bar to formal business dinners, this restaurant is outstanding. |

Upscale Italian restaurant. Start with the olive oil/cilantro/garlic mix for a bread dipper and work you way through some great italian food. Only drawback we have with this restaurant is that when full, it gets extremely loud. You can watch the flat panel screens and see the chef's preparing the food. New Haven Italian style without the extra price. |

Impeccable service. Very pricey. The best place to go when you want to really treat yourself and feel special - but be prepared to pay for it... Finally, a place that had a fruit tart on the menu instead of the same old stuff (tiramisu, cheese cake, etc.). It was truly a work of art. |

A special one night was a 10 oz. filet stuffed with lobster and crab, horseradish mashed potatoes and sauted zuchinni. The fish special was talapia with artichoke hearts and red peppers. Yum. The dessert portions were enormous. Grapenut custard was three times the dessert size we normally get. Good homestyle cooking. This is a restaurant that has a following and the wait staff are the same servers that have been there for years. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. |

Sunday jazz brunch
A few brunch items along with the lunch menu for choices is more than enough to choose from. The tuscan risotto has a silky, creamy, savory taste. The Penne with sausage and broccoli rabe is quite tasty also. The sausage has a nice herbal blend that distinguishes it from every day italian sausage. The rabe has a nice zing to it. A relaxing place to sit back and enjoy a good bottle of wine. |
