News from Emblem.
It was an exciting night for Emblem as we installed our officers for the 2009-2011 term.
We were honored to have Supreme President Mary Clifford as our installing officer. Three past Supreme Presidents were also present and our own State President, Judy Rebello. It was a beautiful event with great food, fun and ceremony. We also participated in the Memorial Day Parade with the Elks.
June will bring our annual Awards Dinner on June 3rd, beginning at 6:00 pm. If you were not at the last meeting, see an officer about his event and how you can support it, It is always a joy to honor our Scholarship and Literacy Contest winners. These young people are the future of America and they make that future look bright and hopeful. We will have a quick meeting after the awards dinner. Come and be part of the future Emblem!
